Structures of Beauty

Here's my first contribution to this assignment. I took a trip to Provo and got some shots of the temple and some academy down there.

Can you tell I loved the trees and stuff all in bloom??

It was fun to see that Spring really is here, even if you can't tell here in Fruitland.

This isn't really of the building, but I thought it was cool. It is the well for an old school house (seen behind).

These are some old houses that we found while driving down 9 Mile Canyon.

More to come.........sometime. I love this assignment. The buildings are more willing to stand there and let me get the right shot. And I took a LOT of shots.

Funny, I asked my dad about any cool buildings around here and Jacob said "how about the temple" I think I will still go take a few pictures of the Logan Temple if I get some time. That is what I wanted to take at night, how do I do that?
Out of the Temple shots I like the last one and then the one with the Temple in focus and the tree out of focus. The walkway out of the temple shows some awesome architecture with the curves and colums.
I love love love old buildings. That broken down stone, awesome and then the b&w wood logs, you must of driven all over today!
Do we have two weeks again with this one or only one week?

I don't care how long we take....I want to get some more shots. You just tell me when to stop and expect some more. This is more my thing than portraits.

My favorite one is the very first one of the temple. I don't know why. I think I may blow it up and frame it so that I have a picture of the temple on my wall. (I know, I'm a slacker. I was married there and have no picture of it.)

Great job, Suzy! I also really like the one with the walkway of the temple... I thought it was a big road at first. Oops.
The well is very cool and I love the old buildings! Both of them. They make me want to go exploring. My favorite one of the temple (other than the walkway) is the last one you took.

That's very funny, I was going to take pictures of our temple too. It'll be fun, we'll have 3 different temples posted.

And I also don't care if it's one or two weeks. I think whichever will not stress us out. My last class is tomorrow so I'll have more time to focus on our photo assignments and less on the class's assignments. I will miss my class though.

I think it is so fun that each of us loves a different assignment the most. I really enjoyed the close-ups. I guess that's just my style. And Jenny loved the portraits, and now Suzy loves the buildings. That is very fun. :)

I don't know that portraits are my thing, I just learned a ton. I guess when I draw I am better at people than scenery, maybe it is a trend. The main thing I loved about the portraits was that I actually got pictures of people that I usually don't have pictures of. I told Suzanne she is next, then me! Maybe by fish lake I will be skinny "enough" to have my photo taken and I can have you both do it for me. I don't have many pictures of me and very few that I like.
