Assignment

Okay girls, it's time for an official assignment. You already saw some of mine, but the assignment is to take some portrait shots. Try to take some shots of someone other than your kids which is convenient and take some shots of someone new, a neighbor, husband, sister, brother, mother ........................ anyone you want. Give it a try. I'll try to get some more shots and get ones that I actually really like and let's see what you come up with.

Here's a few of mine. I know we said to maybe use other models than our kiddo's but I really don't have anyone else to take pictures of. I'll try to find someone, but I don't know who yet. For now I took Jason's 9 month pictures. Here you are.

Portraits

I don't know if it has been an official assignment yet, but we talked about doing portraits for the next one. I took the opportunity to go down to mutual last night and see "my girls" and take some shots. They weren't too thrilled about it because they weren't dressed up and just when I started to figure out the angles of their faces and stuff, they were done and had enough. Oh well, they were good sports. Here are some shots I got.

I will try to find another subject more willing to sit and put up with my practicing. And the light was terrible here.

A Twist

Interesting?

I took this picture yesterday. It is something that normaly I would walk right by and not take a second glance at, so I decided to stop and take a picture.

Laundry Laundry

Today was laundry day so guess what that means? That's right! I took my photo's.

Here it goes...

Close up/ Interesting

This assignment we were to make something not interesting INTERESTING. We were given dirty laundry as our assignment. I however took this picture for close ups and thought it was "interesting."

And another!

Every time I try to post this picture on the other post it loses it's fuzz! So I had to post it separate. I hope to take more tonight, these are just a few that I snapped when we got home from Church today.

I guess it still is not working. If you want to see it you need to come to my house I guess! For some reason it doesn't post clear, so above photo is not what I wanted to post.

Laundry, Interesting?

I really like this first one. I used a technique called painting with light. It didn't work as well as I wanted because it is not completely dark outside but it still was a "happy accident."

I didn't use dirty towels, if you can believe it I am all caught up on my laundry! WOW.

Making it Interesting

This was a little easier than dirty laundry. I hope at least some of them look interesting.
This is one of the only things I bake - Brown Sugar Muffins! Yummy

I love to scrapbook, so I put some brads and ribbon in here. Not too interesting though. Maybe I should have put them together for a picture. ??
This is my broken water pitcher.

This is that gate on the side of my house. I never found it too interesting, but I think it looks really cool here. Good job to me!

I see wheel lines everywhere out here in Fruitland. I never found them very fascinating, but with the background it looks cool.

Laundry

We had the challenge to take something boring and make it look interesting. The topic picked was "dirty laundry". I'll tell you what, no matter what I do, laundry does not look interesting! Here's what I've got so far. Enjoy. This is the first shot I took. When I think of laundry I think of Austin's room where he will throw the dirty clothes on the floor - right next to his basket. None of them ever make it into the basket! Then I thought it might look interesting if I took a picture of the clothes in the washer so the circle effect could add spunk. This is just a pile of daily laundry. Then done in black and white. Then I got bored with that and started taking pictures of the girls with laundry stuff.

I thought this one was fun. Peek-a-boo Lana! She's trying to find out what is so interesting that I had Braydee in the washer.
