Buildings in Cub River

This house was covered with fallen tree's. Talk about a walk on the wild side, I could see inside the window in this picture and I now want to go back and take a peek. I looked in the kitchen window and there was the coolest old refrigerator. I remember my friend JaNae walking me over to this house when I was in high school and it was abandoned then.

At first I made a few comments on these photos but I have since deleted them, I really want to know what people think... then I will tell you why you are wrong.
(That is my husband coming out in me) ; )

A Trip to Vernal

First of all....sorry there are so many. I liked a lot of them for different reasons.I took a road trip today to take some shots of the Vernal Temple. Even though it's my temple, I have never been there. It was so peaceful, even if it isn't white.

I loved the color of this tree with the temple.

Sorry. I took 3 shots for every angle I liked.

This one is actually of the stake center that is on the same lot. I just loved the steeple.

I love the arches here. This is the entrance that you actually go in for a session.

And here I go again with the fun colored trees in focus and the back just out of focus. I guess it's one of my "things".

It just looks welcoming to me.

It was a fun trip. Even with the car load of kids. They did really well.

For Jenny

As you wish......... I love this in black and white. Kind of creepy though. Do you suppose the little building to the left was the bathroom? Who knows.
I also LOVE the color of the roof. It's harder to see here because of the blue sky, but you still get the idea.

Fruitland Life

I don't really love any of these, but this is Fruitland Life. We don't have any old stores or train stations or any of that. Just some old wood homes that amaze me. I can't believe people actually lived in these. What an adventure. No water. No heat. No bathroom! And in most of them I can't even stand up straight, or even come close to standing up straight. I've never been a big fan of Sepia colored pictures, but it's growing on me. These seem to work, at least in my opinion.

I tired to play with the effects and stuff to make them look more interesting. Maybe I needed to be closer, but unfortunately I was closer already than I probably should have been. I would have like to look inside, but I didn't dare get any closer.

"post" HAPPY

#7

I guess I am "post" happy tonight.
Here again is a picture I really did not care for, but with a little crop and the b & w to make it look classic I like it more.
BTW, my parent are leaving tomorrow for the weekend so I guess my picture taking will slow since I will not have a babysitter. : (

I didn't like this photo at all, then after playing with it a bit and moving the focus upward I couldn't decide if I liked it better in color or in B&W.
What do you think?
